Volcano Bulusan

The southernmost volcano of Luzon rises above rainforest and crater lakes in Sorsogon province. Bulusan is known for sudden steam-driven explosions that come with little warning; its latest burst of activity in 2025 dusted surrounding farming towns with ash and kept a permanent 4 km danger zone around the summit closed.
